Outdoor platform lift for a Westmead school

A school in Westmead, Sydney needed step-free access between the playground and a raised walkway beside a flight of stairs. Our NSW team supplied and installed a Discovery platform lift, a Swedish-engineered lift built for outdoor use.

The solution

Westmead, Sydney, New South Wales

The lift has a galvanised steel frame and glass-panelled gates on both landings, so it's durable and easy to see through. It sits under the school's shade canopy, with a short ramp at the lower landing and a call station at each level. Students, staff and visitors with limited mobility can now reach the upper level without the stairs.
