Discovery
If your business or commercial build isn't yet wheelchair accessible, the Discovery is a perfect, NCC compliant alternative to installing a long and expensive ramp. Designed to be installed against a landing or verandah externally, the Discovery is also suitable for internal installation to help negotiate split-level builds.
OVERVIEW
The Discovery VPL is engineered in Sweden with an advanced, multi-layered safety suite designed to protect passengers in every situation. Key safety features include:
Manual Lowering – Allows the lift to be safely lowered to the nearest landing during a power loss or system fault.
In-Car Emergency Telephone – Provides direct communication from the lift car to request assistance when needed.
Safety Underpan – Stops the lift immediately if an obstruction is detected beneath the platform.
Emergency Backup Lowering System (Optional) – Automatically lowers the lift to a safe level during a power outage.
3-year conditional warranty covering both labour and parts
Servicing required every 6-12 months to maintain warranty and optimal performance
All replacement parts are stocked locally for fast turnaround and minimal downtime
