Residential Lifts
Swift Lite. The compact home lift for tight spaces.
The Swift Lite is the compact one: the same Swedish drive and the same shallow pit as the Pro, with push button controls, Traffic White or Jet Black, a Resin Board wall panel and black vinyl flooring. The lift most people choose when a pit is out of the question.

From $41,000 installed, plus GST if applicable.
The final price depends very much on your configuration. Lifts supplied for a qualifying medical need can be GST-free.
Installed covers the lift and its installation, not additional building works or site preparation. We can suggest builders we have worked with, or work alongside the builder you have chosen.
Fits a 50mm pit, or no pit at all: it can sit directly on the slab with a small ramp. That keeps a retrofit cheap, because there is no excavation.

Description
What the Swift Lite is like to own
The Swift Lite does the same job as the Pro in a smaller and plainer package, and it is where most Australian retrofits land. Same Swedish drive, same 50mm pit or no pit at all, same AS1735.15 certification and the same 230v single phase supply, with a shorter list of finishes and a push button panel in place of the touch display. It is the lift in our Holland Park project, where a standard ramp at ground level removed any need to recess a pit into the concrete slab. Supplied and installed from 8 weeks, with parts stocked in Australia and servicing from our Brisbane factory.

Safety Features
Battery backup, so a blackout is not an event: The lift carries its own battery. A mains failure does not leave anyone standing in a stopped car, because it keeps running long enough to reach a floor and open the doors.
Two independent brakes: Braking is doubled up. If one system has a problem the other still holds the car, which is what lets the lift stop safely on a mechanical or a power fault.
A stop button inside the car: Whoever is in the lift can halt it immediately, rather than needing somebody outside to do it for them.
Soft start, soft stop: The car picks up speed and slows gently instead of jolting. It reads as a comfort feature, and it is, but it matters most when the person using the lift is unsteady on their feet.
Doors that check before the lift moves: Sensors watch the doorway for anything in the way and hold the lift still until it is clear. Worth having in a house with children or a dog.
Warranty and Maintenance
Five years on the lift and 10 years on the drive. A service every 12 months keeps it running as it should, and replacement parts are stocked in Australia, so a repair is not waiting on a shipment from the other side of the world.
Safe for the whole household
Door sensors hold the car until the doorway is clear, and two independent brakes mean a fault on one still leaves the car held. There is a stop button inside the car, and a child lock can put chosen floors out of reach.
Anti-Trap battery backup
The lift carries its own battery. If the mains drops out it keeps running at normal speed rather than stopping between floors, so nobody is sitting inside waiting to be let out.
Thor control system
Thor Engineering's control system runs the lift, handling the landing calls, the door timing and the safety circuit. It is standard on every Swift Pro and Swift Lite.
